Giresun
Giresun, on the Ankara-Trabzon highway, is an important tourism center with all shades of green, forested plateaus and natural beaches, a coastline of 122 km, and unlimited natural and cultural riches. Miletus is a region that offers variations from civilizations along the history line extending from the Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman periods to the Republic. Giresun Island (Aretias), the only island of the Eastern Black Sea coast suitable for human life, is a tourism potential in itself.
